Collection: Damola Adeyemo
Damola Adeyemo works within the borderline of African and Traditional aesthetics, especially in Yoruba culture. His paintings explore the living things around his environment. His style of painting is unique and emphasizes geometric forms and effects.
He trained informally under Oyebanji Banjo in Ijinle art studio between 2009 and 2010, and also under Dotun Popoola, the International metal sculptor and painter between 2012 and 2016.
Damola won the best draughtsman and artist of the year in his department in 2018. He is currently in his final year in Obafemi Awolowo University where he’s studying B.S.C in fine and applied art.
