Collection: The Okechukwus
Okechukwu Eze is a sculptor, painter and environmentally friendly artist. His works address concepts of culture, politics, the environment and its inhabitants, re: his painting ‘Under the Umbrella’ which has a political undertone, representing the state of Nigeria at the time it was painted.
Okechukwu is a practical artist who finds solace in creating abnormal people and things in a humorous manner. He also believes art is fun and should help you relax.
Okechukwu and his wife, Queen, plan to open an art academy in the nearest future. They have curated several exhibitions across Lagos, UK, Senegal, and Italy. Okechukwu is the curator of ‘Art is everywhere,’ and ‘Life in my city’.
