Collection: Oheneba

Oheneba is a self-taught visual artist, born in Accra, Ghana, who believes visual artistry is a powerful medium of communication. His pieces often portray beautifully adorned women in tribal gear or are set in phenomenal West African geographic locations as a tribute to his Ghanaian culture and heritage, and specifically, his mother who has played a major role and influence in Oheneba’s life.
Oheneba began his visual artist career in 2017 where he functioned as a Sales Representative in a local art gallery. This opportunity ignited his personal joy of creating pieces of his own.

Oheneba has a special interest in showcasing the beauty, resilience, and courage of women, especially single mothers who seamlessly make the unimaginable happen for their family time and time again. Being raised a child of a single mother, Oheneba strives to continually represent ‘The Woman’ in all her glory, grace, and grandeur.
