Bright Osadolor is a storyteller who uses art as a medium to tell stories. “Africa is full of story, mostly Nigeria. From my state, we have many stories to tell, so I pass it through art...art is always there to do as we wish.” He expressed that painting is fun for him.
Bright’s use of raffia rope, woven baskets, local combs, local drums, twine etc to produce art not only reflects on cultural heritage but also dotes on the usefulness of things in our environments.
Before he became a full time artist, Bright was a wood carver. He focuses on abstract shapes, symbols and sometimes, geometrical compositions.
Brights paintings is often featured in Nollywood films.
