I feel I’m standing in the middle of a crowded room screaming and no one seems to notice me. I feel more alone than ever. Every thought is a cause and every condition is an effect. Doing the same thing, thinking the same thought and taking the same action everyday. The subconscious mind doesn’t take jokes, it merely obeys and receive command from the conscious mind.

Ewurama Amankwah
Ewurama Amankwah greatest influence in creativity lead her to surrealism painting. The surrealist artist base in Ghana. She discovered her talent through childhood when she could take any image and draw with no difference from the original even though her drawing was not matured.
As lovely as Venus, she grew up to love art. She studied painting and textiles in Ghanatta college of art and design. She works on large and small surface which she displays the element and principles of designs. She emphasis on series that bring great influences of how people think, feel and behave in any situation. She believes the mindset is a state of how you make sense of the world and yourself. She’s inspired by the fixed and growth of the mindset in which she interpret as the negative and positive mindset. She decided to attach fishing net to her work to elaborate how the negative thought trap us.
The only way to break free is turning off negative self-talk with extreme positive self-talk. Since her work is affiliated to mental health, Art is therapy.
